The PWS dual red/white flashing strobe beacon operates 24-hours per day at two light levels with automatic switching by a built-in redundant photocell. The beacon uses intelligent lamp control technology for lamp life monitoring and digital technology flash timing to give four (4) years flash lamp life. Manufactured and certified by Orga B.V. The CIP controller monitors the complete lighting system providing information for each PWS beacon installed including individual status of the flash lamp, estimated remaining flash lamp life and condition of the power supply module. One CIP is required when two or more beacons are to be synchronized and monitored. The controller uses digital technology to synchronize the flash timing for all system beacons. The controller alarms have the option to be accessed remotely by a "dry" contact to interface with a monitoring system (by others) or it may be set to transmit a preprogrammed alarm message notification. For one PWS, a basic POC controller is used.
